Bobby’s 100 Disney Adventures of a Lifetime.

November 2022 - November 2023

To help complete my MBA thesis and in honor of The Walt Disney Company celebrating their 100th anniversary, I decided to travel around the world to visit places and experiences that inspired or were inspired by Walt Disney and The Walt Disney Company. The idea for #bobbybeenthereDisney100 was inspired by Marcy Carriker Smothers’ book “100 Disney Adventures of a Lifetime” published by Disney and National Geographic.

100inc Agency.

August 2010 - August 2023

Through the connections and relationships made through my blog 100eats.com, I was able to start a production and marketing agency that began with a strong focus on restaurants and over time expanded to lifestyle brands, retail centers, and consumer products. In the company’s 13 years, I managed a team of 10 and provided social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing, and experiential marketing services for over 100 clients. Clients included brands like New Balance, Los Angeles Times, FivePoint, Simon Malls, and more. Through a partnership with Foodbeast, the national food publication, I brought on some clients like Nissin Cup Noodles, Coca Cola, Pocky, and Monster Energy. In addition to sales at Foodbeast, I also lead the experiential and social production campaigns for brands like Hidden Valley Ranch, Taco Bell, and Jack in the Box across the country. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, event contracts were terminated and the company never fully recovered and eventually ceasing operations in July of 2023. I took this time to complete my Bachelor of Science in Business from Excelsior University (2021) as well as my Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University (2023).

August 2010 - May 2011

Due to the lack of availability of the classes necessary to progress through college, I decided to visit 100 restaurants in 100 days. The idea was to use the LA and OC Modern Luxury Magazines Best Restaurant lists, announced in the summer, to layout a fine dining restaurant tour. Since I was an aspiring hospitality professional I wanted to explore what made the best restaurants so great. I started a photo journal on a website as well as started a Facebook Business Page to share about my adventures. I aspired to encourage personal adventure and taking on new challenges. The blog became a way for me to express myself and eventually turned into a full time job and an actual LLC.

Inspire Artistic Minds.

January 2012 - August 2023

Having struggled with formal education, I turned to experiences to educate myself. I realized a majority of professionals that want to excel in hospitality or the arts rely on a more tactile kind of education as opposed to the structure of a university. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any programs that could help fund this kind of experiential education. I saw an opportunity to create one under a 501(c)(3) umbrella and provide scholarships for professionals looking to expand their knowledge. The fund also was used to create or partner with educational and experience driven events to bring awareness to general consumers about the importance of hand-crafted products and create a knowledge exchange between like minded professionals. The organization was funded solely on event donations, so the impact of Covid 19 was too great for the company to recover. In the 10+ years of the programs existence we distributed over 40 scholarships and reached over 300,000 people through art-first events.
